We welcome our new team members

As the winds of change sweep through NIVA, we express gratitude for the contributions of our colleagues as they move on to new endeavors. Now, we’re delighted to introduce the fresh faces behind the evolving chapter at our organization.

Meet our new project managers Nathalie Räihä, Nora Tobiasson, and Julia Hemgård, and join us in extending a warm welcome to our new team members.

Nathalie Räihä holds a Bachelor´s degree in Arts Management from Arcada University of Applied Sciences. After graduating in 2013, she has worked with different kinds of program coordination tasks at the Finnish-Norwegian Cultural Institute in Oslo, at Hanaholmen – the Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre, and most recently at the University of Helsinki. Nathalie is an easy-going person who enjoys working with people. In her spare time, she listens to country music and likes spending time with her family in the archipelago.

Nora Tobiasson graduated from Lahti University of Applied Sciences in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts. Nora has a background in education spanning both private and public sectors, and she has also been an entrepreneur for several years. Known for her social nature and ability to connect with people, Nora is passionate about fostering positive learning environments. Beyond her professional endeavors, Nora enjoys art projects, vegetarian cooking, and quality time with her husband and two children.

Julia Hemgård holds a Master’s degree in adult education, and has a background in education planning and project management. Her recent experience involves working with various projects within the non-profit sector. Julia enjoys working with people and creating engaging communication. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, preferably with good food by the sea. Julia will be joining our team on January 10th 2024.
