About this webinar

Occupational safety has long been a high priority in the construction industry. Despite this, the number of occupational incident reports has not declined.

This webinar will report on the current state of safety in the construction sector, focusing on key challenges and identifying viable strategies to strengthen safety performance. Drawing on insights from recent inspections and research conducted in both Sweden and Denmark, the webinar will specifically highlight both barriers and facilitating factors that influence safety outcomes.

This webinar will provide overall results that will be dealt with in detail in the upcoming NIVA course Occupational Safety Promotion in the Construction Industry, organised in Malmö, Sweden in May 2026.
