Welcome to join this online webinar that will give an overview of the field of work disability and sickness absence research. Work disability imposes considerable individual, social, and economic burdens. This complex phenomenon is influenced by personal factors, health care systems, workplace factors, the legislative systems as well as societal norms, which may differ substantially around the world.  

This webinar is connected to the course Work Disability Prevention — Bridging Research and Practice, which will be held on 15–17 of April 2026 at Scandic Star Sollentuna in Stockholm, Sweden.

The webinar is free of charge and open to everyone.
