Workplace Interventions for Prevention and Management of Musculoskeletal Disorders

About this course
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSD), such as back pain and neck-shoulder issues, remain some of the most common and costly problems in the workplace, often leading to reduced work ability and long-term sick leave.
This course provides a comprehensive overview of current scientific evidence on workplace interventions aimed at preventing and managing MSDs. Participants will gain both theoretical insight and hands-on experience with practical implements. The focus will be on physical exercise, ergonomics, new technologies, and organisational approaches that promote health and sustainability at work.
Despite clear evidence supporting certain workplace interventions, like resistance training, many organisations still face challenges with implementation. This course helps bridge the gap between research and practice by offering practical tools and up-to-date insights.
