I’m a former Occupational Health Nurse and have worked in Occupational Health Services for over 20 years. I have studied Health and Human Services Informatics at the University of Eastern Finland. At the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health my work is focusing on knowledge management and e-services in Occupational Health Services. My research interests are in documentation and patient data in electronic health records, as well as experiences of digital health services and tools. I’m a board member of the Finnish Social and Health Informatics Association (FinnSHIA).

On the course topic
Technology has become an essential part of our life in Occupational Health Services. Clients want smooth services and professionals that work effectively. It is time to discuss how we can use technology better without forgetting the most important thing: the employees’ right to a healthy and safe work environment.
