About this webinar

Remote and flexible working arrangements became the “new normal” during the pandemic. But how well does this way of working actually function in practice, both for employees and for employers?

In this webinar, we present insights from NordForsk’s research project Remote and Flexible Work Arrangements: A Cross-National Study Focused on Implications for Leaders and Employees. The project aims to investigate the consequences of remote and flexible work in Sweden, Norway, and Lithuania.

Key topics:

  • How do flexible working arrangements affect motivation, health, and performance?
  • What does remote leadership require when physical presence is limited?
  • Under what conditions do these new solutions work best, for individuals, organisations, and society?

The webinar will begin with an introduction to the research project, including key insights and emerging findings from the ongoing research. This will be followed by a moderated discussion exploring the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of working life for both employees and leaders.

Join us to gain insights into one of the most significant transformations in today’s working life, the shift towards remote and flexible work.

This webinar is a collaboration between NordForsk and NIVA, both operating under the Nordic Council of Ministers.
