About the webinar

In this lecture, professor Lars L. Andersen, NFA, will share his experience and talk about the basic steps from your research idea to the final publication. He has published more than 300 peer-reviewed articles indexed in PubMed, and has experience as author, reviewer and editor for journals. It will also be possible to ask questions at the end of the lecture.

The lecture will cover:

  • relevance of the idea
  • background search
  • defining the research question
  • the protocol
  • collecting data
  • analysis of data
  • drafting the manuscript
  • finding the right journal
  • the peer-review process
  • responding to editors and reviewers
  • final publication

The lecture is especially relevant for early career researchers.


About the lecturer

Lecturer Lars L. Andersen is a professor at the National Research Centre for the Working Environment in Denmark. He has published more than 300 peer-reviewed articles indexed in PubMed, and has experience as author, reviewer and editor for journals. His main area of research is work environment & health.
