Nordic-Baltic seminar on work-related crime

12th of September 2024
Conference Center Lejonet, Stockholm, Sweden

Work-related crime has a negative impact on many areas of society. It leads to distorted competition, serves as a source of income for serious organized crime, and puts the workforce at risk of exploitation in various ways, increasing the insecurity of working life. Therefore, it is crucial to combat crime, fraud, and exploitation related to working life, which requires cooperation across national borders.

The Swedish presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2024 are specifically focusing on Nordic-Baltic cooperation on work-related crime. They will therefore organize a seminar on this topic to highlight successful working methods, forms of cooperation, and efforts from the Nordic and Baltic countries. The seminar will also focus on how Nordic-Baltic cooperation can be developed further. Additionally, it will kick off the soon-to-be formalized Nordic-Baltic network under the Nordic Council of Ministers.

Kindly note that the seminar is for invited guests. The seminar has a limited number of spots available.
