Recent studies have revealed the importance of work related factors in the development of cardiovascular diseases. However, positive associations between work and cardiovascular health has been reported. The control of the traditional cardiovascular risk factors may prevent musculoskeletal, metabolic and cognitive disorders.
Objectives
The scope is to update the information of work related cardiovascular health in work environment. Recent data of risk factors will be presented, positive effects of work on heart will be discussed and best practices of cardiovascular health promotion at workplace will be analysed.
